Yoga and Culture in Mexico Retreat
February 18 - 25, 2017
Ingrid & Stephan

With Ingrid A. Marcroft & Stephan W. Kolbert

In our quest to discover the world together with our yogi friends, we have found another gem: Mar de Jade, created in 1983 with great love, 90 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta. We want to explore it with you!

Whether you’re a longtime or new yoga practitioner, this retreat is an opportunity for you to deepen your own practice and connect with yourself, with old and new friends, and with the beauty of Mexico’s tropical Pacific coast. Twice-daily classes, led by Ingrid and/or Stephan, will be crafted to meet students’ needs and will be both vigorous and restorative. Discover how a week of daily yoga and meditation brings your practice to a deeper level of inquiry and joy!

All classes will be held in Mar de Jade’s beautiful retreat halls, with hardwood floors, ocean views and floor-to-ceiling windows that open up completely to allow for natural light and breeze. The rest of the day is yours to plan! Daily options for activities include snorkeling, nature and cultural tours, horseback riding, whale watching, boat tours and more. (Group excursions and potential local community service opportunities will be coordinated on site!) If you want to just chill, there’s always the ocean, warm sun, hammocks, a good book, and wonderful spa treatments. It’s up to you! You will return home rested and inspired, with many new friends and memories that make you smile.
